New Year, New Entry

I thought that since it is a new year that a new entry would be appropriate. I went back and looked at my first entry of last year. Kinda boring. (which I suppose this one will be also). I have no resolutions because I will just disappoint myself when I don't follow through. I know that the whole purpose of a resolution is to strive to follow through with what you have resolved to do.

I may even come back and rewrite this entry later. Who knows.

Last year was a good year in retrospect. We moved into a nice house. DD is in school. I joined a CT. I finally got my diploma. I have decent job.

What would I like to see in the coming year? Well, I would like to either find a new position at the company where I work, or I would like to find a position elsewhere that utilizes my degree and sets me on a career path. Is 31 too old to start a career? Hopefully, we'll find out.

I would also like to be more creative and work on getting my own business off the ground. I would like to learn more about photography and my camera to take better pictures. I would like to learn to get better creating my own digital scrapbook elements. I need to work on skills and look at products I would like to offer and pricing of those products, print brochures and business cards. Make sure my website is what I want it to be.

I would also like to see DH in a job that allows him to work a regular "normal" schedule. If I were to get a better job, that could be possible.

I would like to see more of our bills paid and not have to worry about living paycheck to paycheck.

Will any of this happen? Only time will tell.
