Fingers crossed
I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I went to a job interview yesterday for a helpdesk position with the district. It's a way to get out of the politics of this place. It feels like I'm sinking everyday. I know that I'm not appreciated by two of the staff members who I am supposed to be working with. They haven't included me in any of their plans. Pretty crappy if you ask me. I have to sound that way, but it is. I have gone above and beyond the call of duty for the both of them, and they shun me. Sure, I'll miss working with the kids, but I've got to think of myself. I've told all the supervisors that if I do get the job, I'm just a phone call away.
Haven't started on any new knitting, yet. I'm waiting to go down to the house and look through DH's great aunt's yarn. I get whatever I want. Probably all acrylic, but it's free. If I've got time today, I'll look through some free patterns to see if I can find some ideas on what to make.
We finished our room. It looks pretty cool with the plaster on the walls.
